Video from the North Pole

Lincoln has been checking his e-mail looking for the one from Santa. He got one for the past 2 years, so he is going to be excited tomorrow when he see's he will finally have one from Santa.
Click here to see his video from Santa. And if you have kiddo's, have Santa send them one too!

Turkey Day and Misc

Apparently, I didn't take many pictures at our actual Thanksgiving get together! We went to Ron's uncle Stephen's and Aunt Karen's home. Karen's brother and her parents were there. Ron's aunt Nancy flew in from Florida to join us, and Ron's cousin Ginger was there with her 3 kids. 15 in all, the boys had fun playing with their cousins!

Here is cousin Ginger loving on the baby. She teaches pre-K all day, so she enjoyed some baby time!

Lennox and cousin Jenna.

Ron carving the turkey!

Made it home by midnight on Thanksgiving evening. Ron woke up this Friday morning, and decided to go out and get a turkey and all the fixin's, and prepared our small family of 5 our very own Thanksgiving #2. Now we have some traditional turkey leftovers (his goal!).

On another note: Lawson hasn't been sick in YEARS... However towards the end of the afternoon he started worrying b/c he had a high fever and was weak. Took him in to the after hours care and he has a double ear infection! He says his ears don't even hurt, but glad I took him in... they mentioned that his throat was also infected, so he is on a z-pack and I'm sure by morning he will back to his normal self! Wondering if he aquired the ear infections on his NY trip with the airplane pressure.... He came home from his vacation in a miserable mood for several days, and I just thought it was just him getting back to his routine.

On a more positive note: We were so proud of Lincoln today. Our little entrepreneur! He spent about 5 hours of his day today, in the freezing cold, HARD at work raking neighbor's leave's. Total earning by the end of the day: $32.00!!!! Way to go Lincoln, he worked hard! We envision our boys mowing the neighborhood yards when they are old enough! Almost every single home on our road (with the exclusion of us) has professional yard service so there is definitely a need for some good lawn care!

Visting with Fam

The Flower Mound Five traveled to old San Antonio this year for Thanksgiving! We spent the holiday with Ron's side of the family at his aunt & uncle's home.
On Wednesday, we got to spend time with my sister Jen, Mark and baby Masen. Check out her posting on our visit, right HERE.

The boys with baby Masen!

Jen and I always have to do a baby swap! Here they are checking each other out.

It was super cute to see them interacting and playing.

Already fighting over a book!

The Big Hunt

Ron and Lawson had a 4 night vacation/hunting trip to Ron's home town in upstate New York. Last year, Lincoln went, so this year it was Lawson's turn. Ron actually came back with some great pictures, after I gave him a hard time about last year only taking low quality phone pictures that I couldn't do anything with! Love these pictures:

The Geri's men ready to hunt!
Moses (Ron's little brother), Ron, Lawson, and Papa Paul (Ron's Dad)

Lawson helped Ron shoot a buck. REALLY he helped, he spotted 3 deer and told Ron.... look there are some deer! And Ron got it. Teamwork!

Lawson got to spend some time with Grandma Joan. (Ron's moms' mom!)

The Laws and Papa Paul.

Good Ole St Nick

Who's this guy holding my baby? Oh, it's my hubby sporting a goatee.
(Lennox didn't recognize him when he grew out his full beard!)

Even though it was 80degree's today, we tried to get into the holiday spirit by visiting winter wonderland at Bass Pro Shop. So happy to get "visit with Santa" checked off my to-do list early!

Wolves

One of my long time friends (bridesmaid) Gabby made an impromptu visit to Great Wolf Lodge with her family. Great Wolf is literally down the street from me, so we joined her for some fun! Lincoln got to enjoy the water park, then we all had dinner together there on site. Everyone is given wolf ears to wear!

Gabby and I in our wolf ears!

Lincoln enjoying some water rides.

Baby wolf, Lennox

Lincoln and Gabby's son, Anesten. They are both 6 and in 1st grade.

Bambi

Ron and Lawson are in Upstate New York HUNTING!!!
I just got this phone picture from Ron. I guess they shot a buck!

Here they are at 4am Wednesday leaving early to catch a flight out! Apparantly, Lawson is having a blast in NY with his Daddy! Last year Lincoln got to go, so this year it was Lawson's turn!

Friday, November 19

The 1st (of many) sink bath!

2 teeth

"Someone" requested a picture of his 2 new bottom teeth.... So here you go.... Silly pic's, but you can see them!
(on another note, Lincoln just lost his 6th tooth!)

My favorite present

He's my favorite present under the tree!
We decided to put up our tree early this year, and I had to wrap some presents to put under it... The baby is VERY curious about the tree and presents, and can't wait to tear into one!

First Grade

Lincoln's 1st Grade School picture.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this kid. I'd have to say, he's pretty much as close to perfect as you would want for a son! My heart misses him so much as he spends so much time at school... Lincoln and I share a lot of our personality, we totally get each other! Besides that he is so outgoing and social (unlike me as a child), I can totally see myself in him.
It's also hard to see him "growing up"... He doesn't want to hold my hand in public, etc... And he has recently decided that Grammy and Nanny sound too baby-ish, so he now calls them Gram and Nan. To go along with Mom (NEVER mommy), Aunt Susan (instead of Auntie Sue Sue), no more "La La".... His Buzz Lightyear rain coat is "too baby-ish".... PLEASE don't keep growing up on me! He's so stinking mature!
He's 6 going on 30, it seems sometimes!

Marines, Mohawks, and Red Cars

Here's Ron on the way to Lincoln's school. He was being recognized at the veterans day celebration, and had to speak to the whole student body. Boy, was Lincoln proud of his Daddy!

Lawson, at preschool. Hilarious Hair day (it was H week!)

This Little Tikes car has gotten it's use from ALL 3 boys, and it was a hand me down. Considering buying a nice shiny new one for Lennox! He already likes taking rides in the big red car!

The Laws, age 4 3/4

Lawson and his best neighborhood buddy, they will both be going to Kinder next year.

My silly 4 yr old!

Lawson sleeping with his soccer trophy, one proud player!

Baby Bath Time

No more baby bath for me, bathing with my big bubby's is much more fun!

Sunday, November 7

The Strikers

Lawson's soccer season is over, his last game was on Saturday. No more soccer is bitter-sweet.
Bitter b/c we LOVED going to watch him play as a family, and he loved it and was an excellent player.
Sweet because no more soccer means freeing up 2-3 nights a week!

Drama Camp

This is Lincoln's 2nd year to go to a drama camp sponsored by the high school drama department. Lincoln LOVES being able to go to the HS and hang around the "teenagers"!! He has a special love for drama... he loves being in the spotlight. As part of the camp, they got to experience putting on their own stage makeup and this was his creation.

The Three Bears

My silly 4 year old!
By the way... Last year Lincoln got to go with Ron for a hunting trip in upstate NY. This year, Lawson gets to go with Daddy to NY to hunt, and visit Daddy's side of the Fam...

The grown up 1st grader.

A failed attempt at a cute brother picture!

Blue Hair

Lincoln's class earned enough points to have crazy hair day. He chose to have a blue mohawk! Lawson declared that it was crazy blue hair today at home as well. And he loved wearing his blue hair to gymnastics today. No blue hair for the baby yet!

Boomerang

Ooooops!!!
Apparently this is what could happen if you try to teach a 4yr old to throw a boomerang.

Visitor

MY DAD (Grandpa Lucek) came in for a 2 night visit from Illinois. He came during Halloween weekend, so he got to experience lot's of the kids events. (He probably played a 100 games of checkers with the boy's while he was here!)
Here we are "trunk or treating" at Lawson's preschool.
Glad to have you Grandpa Lucek!!!
